Valentine’s Day feels as good a time as any to slip back into my commentary style. It’s been a long time since I accompanied my crediting with something more than lyrics and a song, and I feel the need to stretch my fingers and share my thoughts again. I’ve blogged eight times since the new year began, but I haven’t said much in that time. So I guess I’ll just start with my experiences thus far in 2026.

In recent weeks, I very nearly deserted the platform over the news of Philip Rosedale’s name showing up more times that I care to count in the files I’m both tired of hearing about and need to hear a whole hell of a lot more about. After his statement was released, I’ve stayed my hand for the time being. It was a difficult choice, both to leave and to stay, but I’m grateful that I’m still here in virtual space, especially given the timing. Recently, I found my inspiration again in the form of a rebrand that I’ll be launching very soon. It’s focused around the feminine part of me that I’ve spent a lot of time and energy healing over the last couple of years. For those that love PANIQ, I expect they’ll love Everlune all the more. I’m also pleased that the first major event my new brand will be taking on will be Fantasy Faire.

For anyone that’s spent more than a seconds around me or reading my blogs, you’ll know how near and dear to my heart this particular event is. For those whose heart belong to creativity in a generous sense, Fantasy Faire is the earth and sky. It’s a collective of thousands coming together to reach out a helping hand to those who most need it. Everything else is set aside to focus this energy, hope, and love, into something tangible. It is my favorite time of year, the time of year when my heart is refilled with hope. I cannot wait to see what worlds await us and what inspiration will bring me to offer to the cause.

Joining me again this year will be my beautiful sister, Myka Winchester. This year, she’ll have two brands offering support for the two and a half week long relay: Mysteria and her newest project Chronic Cosmetics. I’ve long been a fan of Mysteria and Myka’s pose work within that brand name. She underestimates exactly how skilled she is, and I love proving to her time and time again her own brilliance. The amount of times she’s had to pick her jaw up off of the floor over one of my shots, only to later realize I was using one of her poses, is actually amusing. In Chronic, she has far more pride, and I’m proud of her for it. Her cosmetics absolutely speak for themselves, but I’m also going to speak for them.

In this particular shot, I used the Soulmoons Group Pose from Mysteria and the Sable Shadows from Chronic Cosmetics.

Soulmoons is meant to be an all femme group pose, but Myka includes all three single poses alongside single posestands and a linked set of the three to make it easy to adjust things in the way that best suits your style and needs. It wasn’t difficult swapping a masculine frame into this group pose. It’s also rather versatile in that I think each individual pose could be swapped into a different place and would wind up creating another beautiful group setup. I love my shot of this, but I also recommend taking a peek at the advertisement for it, because there’s more detail than I managed to fit into my framing. For only L$240, it’s kind of a steal.

Sable Shadows is one of my recent favorites out of Chronic, and favorites are legitimately hard to choose here. I’m someone who enjoys a simple understated eyeshadow, but this manages to be both bold and understated. Might’ve missed the mark, not naming it Conundrum. Both myself and Michi are wearing different color variants of this shadow in my shot, with me in the shade Crave and Michi in the shade Ravage. There are twenty shades, a tintable base shadow, and a tintable liner included in the pack. This particular cosmetic hasn’t released yet, it’s coming to the newest round of Gothcore this month, but you can expect this to also be an absolute steal. Myka’s prices are always far more than fair.
